I was inspired in my youth by the 1970s theme of community and 'getting back to the land'. The spiritual angle and the deeper ideology was largely missing in this social wave. I was thrilled to find both as I came across Prout. In recent years I have focussed on service to the biological world. Here in Australia there are perplexing challenges for the environment. At the same time there are new ideas and political tensions. There are also dogmatic notions of land management which I believe provide no solutions. Finding new directions in this maze is a challenge I am working on. In part, this interest is expressed through the organization PCAP (Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and Plants) in particular by promoting the cultivation of endangered plants with the 'Lonely Plants Club'
